KIND to the World

Being KIND to the World is an integral part of the KIND philosophy. We are committed to our mission to foster global coexistence and kindness. Below you can learn more about efforts we’ve seeded or supported in pursuit of these goals.

• We create social initiatives that inspire kindness:

  In 2008, we seeded the KINDED movement to inspire unexpected acts of kindness (KINDED.com).

  Through KINDED, a KIND act is not just a kind act, but an opportunity to have a GREAT impact. By simply passing on an unexpected kind act with a KINDED card, you will not only make someone's day, but inspire a chain of KINDINGS that puts you in the running to win The GREAT KINDING: if your kind act is a part of the chain that travels the furthest by January 29th, you will be invited to submit an idea for a GREAT KIND act you can't do alone. From there, the KINDED community will vote to determine which Great KINDING the KIND team will make happen.

• We pursue and encourage KINDNESS through business:

  KINDNESS is at the heart of the KIND culture and is integrated holistically into all aspects of our business from sales to operations to marketing. Our staff, especially our team of KIND brand ambassadors, celebrates and inspires kindness all over the country.

• We donate at least 5% of profits to causes that foster global coexistence and kindness:

  We donate not just money, but significant effort and time to causes that advance our social mission. This fall we launched The Great KINDING campaign in which we will enable a Great KIND act, voted for by the KIND community (www.kinded.com). Our contributions to the PeaceWorks Foundation have supported efforts to foster global coexistence including the OneVoice Movement, Imagine 2018 (www.imagine2018.org), and Goal 2018 (www.goal2018.org).

• We have a long heritage of social entrepreneurship:

  KIND’s brand heritage is deeply rooted in improving global co-existence. KIND was founded by PeaceWorks, a company fostering joint business ventures among neighbors striving to co-exist in conflict regions worldwide.
